Vision
IFS Is committed to driving down the cost of healthcare by offering a comprehensive line of "Best in Class" implants at generic prices. IFS seeks to disrupt the orthopedic implant market and redefine how implants are purchased.
We focus on commonly used, market proven products that do not have IP protection -- 80% of what orthopedic surgeons, hospitals and surgery centers use every day.
IFS implants are designed by world-class surgeons and priced to address the declining reimbursement for surgical procedures.
Our prices are 40-60% less than our competitors.

Focused Strategy and Target market

IFS specializes in products that orthopedic surgeons use every day in common surgeries. Our product line is specifically designed to address the most common fractures and orthopedic surgical conditions. Surgeons, hospitals and surgery centers choose IFS because we understand and address their two most important needs:
1) Highest quality products: IFS starts with the industry's gold standard designs and makes them even better. We work closely with orthopedic surgeons to incorporate features and characteristics not found in competitive products. Our National Advisory Panels in Podiatry, Orthopaedics, Hand and Spine are comprised of leading surgeons recognized in their Fields.
2) Cost Effective Pricing: IFS IFS embraces the business principles of some of the world’s most successful companies to create more efficient set designs, flexible distribution pathways and responsible inventory management. On average our prices are 40-60% less than the industry leaders which benefits the healthcare system.

Medical Implant Industry Conditions
Medical device costs are being scrutinized now more than ever before. The decision to use implants was once based solely on surgeon preference. With the state of healthcare today, surgeons and administration are working together to provide patients with the highest quality, cost effective care. IFS is the first manufacturer to recognize and capitalize on this paradigm shift in implant purchase decision-making.
The reimbursement for surgical procedures continually decreases as the costs of implants increase 8% to 10% annually. IFS implants are typically 40% to 60% less than our competitors!
For the first time physicians, administration, facilities, insurances, and most importantly the patients are looking for companies who offer superior products at responsible prices.

How we do it?

IFS’s strategy is to focus on Cost Effectiveness -- delivering superior value at a low cost. We do this by employing the following concepts:
1. Intelligent, cost effective set design: IFS is committed to the following principles wherever possible: - Standardization - Minimizing customization - Purchasing components in volume to obtain the best pricing Our sets are modular and flexible, designed to meet both the surgeon’s needs and minimize inventory carrying costs.
2. Research and Development: IFS’s business is to enhance market proven products and sell them at generic prices. This allows us to keep R&D expenditures low.
3. Flexible Distribution and Sales Pathways: IFS provides sales representatives where they are needed most. They are dedicated to helping surgeons and facility staff use our products effectively. However, if their presence is not required in the OR, Reps devote time to improving customer relationships and developing new business. IFS believes that Reps should add value, but not increase cost and we have structured our pricing to maximize these two principles.
4. Focus on Essential Set Components: IFS provides the implants and instruments required to complete a surgery as a standard part of our surgical sets. We are committed to serving the surgeon’s needs and ensuring successful outcomes. However, IFS recognizes that there is often duplication of non-implant specific instrumentation, that drives up cost. IFS offers flexible solutions that allow facilities to choose what they need, eliminating the cost of redundancy.
